How do I know if my pool is leaking or just evaporating?
A bucket test separates them: float a bucket of pool water on a step and compare the drop inside and outside over 24 hours. Equal drop is evaporation. If the pool drops faster, ALHUD will test with the pump on and off to locate the source.
How long does the pool stay empty?
For a full re-tile, two to four weeks. An empty pool should not be left standing indefinitely in this climate — ground water and heat both act on an empty shell — so the programme is planned to refill as soon as curing allows.
Can you convert the pool to a saltwater system?
